SRAM GX Eagle Transmission chain

The chain is characterized by maximum durability and resistance. Specially developed to optimize the drivetrain system, it represents SRAM's strongest chain to date, alongside the X0 and XX Eagle models.

This is thanks to the innovative Flattop™ profile, already known from the road bike sector, which not only visually enhances every bike, but also improves shifting performance and durability. Thanks to the use of solid pins, the 12-speed chain can easily withstand not only everyday stresses but also the increased torques of modern E-MTB's.

Flattop™ |To create cassettes with a wider ratio range and correspondingly smoother, smaller-step gear changes, requires a narrower chain. To ensure that durability does not suffer, SRAM has added material to the flat side of the outer plates and hard-chrome plated the rivets, inner plates, and bushings. This way, the Flattop™ chains not only outperform the conventional models in terms of tensile strength and durability but also increase efficiency and smooth running properties.
